May 2010, the weekend before the 30th anniversary of Mt. St. Helens erupting, we went camping at Seaview State Park in Washington and spent a day exploring around Mt. St. Helens including driving to the Johnston Ridge Observatory. Later that summer Michael and his brother Kevin climbed Mt. St. Helens. Our 2007 family vacation was a 10 day trip to Alaska. Follow the link for an overview and pictures.
August 2005 we spent a week camping at Wallowa Lake. A selection of pictures from the week can be found here.
Halloween 2005 included a pumpkin carving party on Sunday afternoon, then trick-or-treating with the Koons. This was our twelveth consecutive year of our kids trick-or-treating together.

Our annual Hohnbaum
Family Christmas Brunch was cut short in 2005 due to an ice storm
hitting the area. A few pictures
were taken before everyone left.
The 2006 Hohnbaum Family Christmas Brunch had more cooperative weather. The newest addition to the family, Lukas, made his first Brunch appearance. Select pictures can be found here.

December 14, 2006 the Portland metro area was hit by the strongest windstorm in 11 years. We made it through with only minor damage – one tree took out two sections of chain link fence. For those that missed out on the fun, here are some pictures.
